On August 26, Li Auto revealed that the official launch event for its next-generation Li Auto MEGA is scheduled to take place at 7:30 PM on September 2. In recent times, several sets of real-life images of this new model have surfaced online. The latest iteration of the Li Auto MEGA largely preserves the styling and design elements of its predecessor, featuring a sleek, aerodynamic body that minimizes wind resistance and maximizes driving range. However, it also introduces a series of enhancements and refinements.

One standout feature is the closed-style white wheel rims, which have become a signature element of the new model. Additionally, the vehicle has replaced traditional ultrasonic radar with UWB (Ultra-Wideband) near-field sensing technology, reducing the number of radar openings on the car's exterior and contributing to a cleaner, more streamlined look.

Solid-state LiDAR units have been strategically placed beneath the side cameras and on the tailgate, enhancing the vehicle's sensing capabilities. Meanwhile, the door handles have been redesigned as semi-hidden, seamlessly integrating mechanical and electronic unlocking mechanisms for added convenience.

Furthermore, the new Li Auto MEGA will be available in a Home version, featuring second-row seats that support multiple angle adjustments and come equipped with a detachable tray table. This innovative design expands the vehicle's versatility, making it suitable for a wider range of usage scenarios.
