At the Chengdu International Motor Show, Qijing, a premium intelligent electric vehicle brand co-created by GAC Group and Huawei DriveONE, made a striking debut with the Qijing GT7 and the all-new Qijing GX7, forming a two-pronged product lineup. The exhibition stand featured transparent car and half-cut car displays of the GX7, drawing in a multitude of visitors. Qijing stands as a pivotal project in GAC Group's shift towards premium and intelligent mobility solutions. The two companies signed an enhanced cooperation agreement in 2024, and in 2025, the brand name was proposed by Ren Zhengfei. Its development adheres to the long-term strategic framework of both entities. The collaboration follows a model of "automaker-led, joint definition," where GAC Group contributes its expertise in vehicle R&D, manufacturing, and quality control, while Huawei DriveONE achieves seamless integration of its full-stack technologies with the vehicle architecture. The Qijing brand's companion, "Feiqi," made its first appearance, aiming to seamlessly integrate into all aspects of life and foster an emotional connection between the brand and its users. In terms of product lineup, Qijing has established a "shooting brake + SUV" configuration. The GT7 is positioned as a next-generation intelligent shooting brake, targeting the new middle class; the GX7 is a spacious five-seat intelligent versatile SUV, emphasizing "caring for family while also indulging oneself," boasting multiple space configurations and a comprehensive all-scenario safety system. Currently, Qijing has established a network of over 300 offline stores in more than 90 cities nationwide, ensuring market penetration through a dual-business model. It is redefining premium intelligent mobility standards with a dual-wheel drive approach of manufacturing and technological innovation.
