Commencing on August 22, 2026, the company will initiate a recall of 46,850 ARCFOX Koala pure electric vehicles manufactured between August 17, 2023, and July 31, 2026. The root cause of this recall lies in the absence of specific text prompt markings on the internal emergency mechanical handle cover of the right rear sliding door. This omission could potentially hinder the swift opening of the door in emergency situations. In response to this issue, BAIC BluePark Magna will provide a complimentary replacement of the cover, now featuring the necessary text prompt markings. Additionally, the company will implement an over-the-air (OTA) software update to introduce a window lowering mechanism post severe collisions, thereby mitigating any potential safety risks.
