Recently, Li Shufu stepped down from his roles as Chairman of the Board and Executive Director at Geely Automobile Holdings Limited. He has been bestowed the title of Lifetime Honorary Chairman of the company, while maintaining his position as Chairman of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group. Geely Automobile has unveiled a series of management reshuffles, with An Conghui assuming the role of Chairman of the Board and Gan Jiayue being appointed as the new CEO. In an exclusive interview with Zhejiang Daily, Li Shufu articulated that the crux for private enterprises, having attained wealth, to lead the less affluent towards prosperity lies in identifying and nurturing talented individuals, elevating them to managerial roles, and steering the enterprise towards sustained growth. He underscored that consistent corporate development forms the bedrock for achieving common prosperity, and Geely will persist in maintaining strategic stability to fuel long-term corporate expansion.
