On August 19, Wang Haojun, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Pony.ai (02026.HK), recently disclosed that the company's overseas deployment plan for Robotaxis has surpassed 4,000 vehicles. In a strategic partnership with Uber, Pony.ai intends to deploy over 2,000 Robotaxis across five major European cities. Wang Haojun emphasized the immense potential of the European market, noting that the initial deployment of 2,000 vehicles is merely a starting point, with further expansion anticipated as the market evolves. For the full year, Pony.ai remains confident in surpassing its Robotaxi revenue target for 2026. Concurrently, the company is making steady progress towards its goal of deploying 3,500 Robotaxis in more than 20 cities by the end of 2026.
