Effective August 18, Li Shufu will relinquish his positions as Chairman of the Board and Executive Director. Instead, he will be honored as the Lifetime Honorary Chairman, while retaining his role as Chairman of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group. An Conghui is set to assume the mantle of Board Chairman, a move aimed at bolstering corporate synergy. Meanwhile, Li Donghui will step down as Vice Chairman of the Board but will remain an Executive Director. Gui Shengyue will transition from Chief Executive Officer to Vice Chairman of the Board, a change designed to enhance communication efficiency. Gan Jiayue will step into the role of Chief Executive Officer, overseeing the company's day-to-day operations.
On the same day, Geely Automobile also disclosed its interim financial results for 2026. The company reported a total revenue of RMB 173.6 billion, marking a 15% year-on-year increase. Additionally, the core net profit attributable to shareholders reached RMB 9.68 billion, reflecting a significant 46% year-on-year surge.
