He firmly believed that batteries that do not meet zero-carbon standards will inevitably be phased out. Zeng Yuqun highlighted that climate change poses a genuine and imminent crisis. He cited Europe's record-breaking heatwave in June, with Paris experiencing temperatures surpassing 40℃, as a stark example. Furthermore, he pointed out that the geopolitical turmoil over the past six months has underscored the vulnerability and inherent risks associated with fossil fuel-based energy systems. Additionally, he noted that the ongoing progress in industrialization, electrification, and artificial intelligence has significantly boosted global energy and electricity consumption. This surge in demand has, in turn, led to a corresponding increase in carbon emissions.
