In July, China’s auto exports delivered outstanding performance, with a total of 1.043 million vehicles shipped overseas. This marked a 0.6% month-on-month increase and an impressive 81.3% year-on-year surge. Among these, 553,000 were new energy vehicles (NEVs), reflecting a 5.7% month-on-month rise and a staggering 145.5% year-on-year jump. Notably, China’s auto exports exceeded the 1 million threshold for two consecutive months in June and July, with NEV exports accounting for over 50% of the total in both months. From January to July this year, China’s cumulative auto export value reached USD 110.8 billion, up 55% year-on-year. In July alone, the export value of complete vehicles soared to USD 19 billion, representing a 60% year-on-year increase and a 4% month-on-month rise, breaking the previous trend of July exports being slightly lower than those in May.
