WeRide has announced its financial performance for the second quarter (Q2) and the first half (H1) of 2026. The data reveals that the company's total revenue for the first half of the year soared to RMB 350 million, marking a significant 73% year-on-year increase. Specifically, revenue in Q2 reached RMB 230 million, experiencing an impressive 82% year-on-year surge and a remarkable 103% quarter-on-quarter growth. Furthermore, the gross profit margin climbed to 37.5%.
The overseas business has emerged as a fresh growth catalyst, with overseas revenue in H1 witnessing a 154% year-on-year spike. In Q2, overseas revenue surged by 164% year-on-year and 169% quarter-on-quarter. Presently, WeRide's operations span over 60 cities across 13 countries, and its overseas business is poised to become a crucial source of cash flow and profits for the company.
In terms of commercialization, both the L4 and L2++/L3 businesses are accelerating their pace. In Q2, revenue from the L4 business skyrocketed by 131% quarter-on-quarter, with a global L4 fleet size of approximately 3,400 vehicles. Meanwhile, revenue from the L2++/L3 business soared by 219% quarter-on-quarter, with around 30,000 units of WRD 3.0 shipped. The company has secured mass production designations for over 30 vehicle models and initiated L3 concept validation cooperation with German luxury brands. Leveraging its physical AI technology, the company has constructed competitive barriers and successfully transitioned from technological validation to large-scale commercialization.
