Recently, a class-action lawsuit has been initiated by two Mercedes-Benz AMG owners in the United States at a federal district court in California. They claim that a design flaw in the metallic emblems affixed to the front seats of select Mercedes-Benz models renders them susceptible to causing burns to passengers when exposed to high temperatures. The plaintiffs are demanding medical compensation from Mercedes-Benz and urging the automaker to finance the removal of these defective emblems from the affected vehicles.
