In the first half of 2026, Chery Group captured a 4.1% share of the global market, tying for ninth place with Ford on the global stage. For the very first time, three Chinese automakers—Chery, BYD, and Geely—secured spots in the top 10 global automakers list based on sales volume. Since the start of this year, Chery Group has consistently set new benchmarks for China's monthly automobile exports, achieving this feat for five consecutive months. From January to July, the cumulative export volume reached 1.146 million vehicles, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 71.2%. In the first half of the year, Chery's cumulative sales in Europe soared to 174,000 vehicles, a remarkable 212% year-on-year growth. This included 86,000 new energy vehicles, which surged by 385% year-on-year, accounting for nearly half of the total sales in Europe. In July alone, Chery exported 202,533 vehicles, making it the first Chinese automaker to export over 200,000 vehicles in a single month.
