Xpeng Motors recently released official interior images of its new large five-seater tech flagship model, the Xpeng G9L. Designed with the concept of 'Cosmic Starry Sky First Class,' the interior features a Sahara Orange color scheme and is equipped with a large floating central control screen, an 88-inch AR-HUD, a dual-floating central console, a 21.4-inch rear entertainment screen, and a 9-inch streaming media rearview mirror. The Xpeng G9L debuts with full-body AI adaptive seating technology, along with a dual-zone in-car refrigerator, an intelligent four-motor executive central console, and a 33-speaker sound system, offering a trunk capacity of 1,152 liters. In terms of intelligent driving, the Xpeng G9L is equipped with an upgraded version of Xpeng's second-generation Vision Language Action Model (VLA). Externally, the Xpeng G9L is based on the G9 but features a systematic redesign, retaining the signature pulling-through (through-type) light strip while adjusting the internal light sources. The lower light clusters have been completely redesigned, and the vehicle is equipped with AI digital projection headlights. Two new body colors, Provence Purple and Tuscany Green, have been added. The A-pillar design is sharper, the wheel styles are updated, the rear pulling-through (through-type) taillights are enlarged and blackened, and the rear bumper has also been redesigned. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,120mm in length, 1,999mm in width, and 1,782mm in height (with alternative versions available at 1,788mm and 1,795mm), with a wheelbase of 3,100mm. Powertrain options include both pure electric and plug-in hybrid variants. The pure electric version is equipped with a 270 kW drive motor and offers two battery capacities: 91.9 kWh and 110 kWh, corresponding to different driving ranges. The plug-in hybrid version utilizes a 1.5T turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor system, with the engine delivering a maximum power output of 110 kW. All models come standard with 800-volt high-voltage ultra-fast charging technology, allowing for a 450-kilometer range replenishment in just 9 minutes.
