The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has initiated a preliminary investigation into suspension system failures in Tesla vehicles that may lead to 'loss of vehicle control,' involving nearly 1.2 million vehicles. According to regulatory documents from the NHTSA's Office of Defects Investigation, the probe covers Tesla Model 3 vehicles from model years 2018 to 2020 and Tesla Model Y vehicles from model years 2021 to 2023.
