Currently, the U.S. Senate is pushing to expand the ban on sales of Chinese automobiles. However, Chinese automakers have already secured a significant market share in Mexico and can sell limited quantities of electric vehicles in Canada, which is seen as a testing ground for entering the U.S. market.
