On July 31st, news emerged that on the evening of July 30th, Lei Jun, during the launch event for Xiaomi Auto's second product lineup, revealed that the pre-sale prices for the two models, Pengcheng N90 Max and N70 Max, would be set at RMB 299,900 and RMB 259,900 respectively. This move signifies Xiaomi Auto's formal foray into the extended-range vehicle market. At the event, Xiaomi also introduced its cutting-edge battery supply system—the Pengcheng series. This series represents a departure from the previous heavy reliance on CATL and BYD Battery, which were the primary suppliers for the Xiaomi SU7 and YU7 models. Instead, it incorporates Sunwoda and CALB as new battery suppliers. Notably, the Pengcheng N90 Max is outfitted with a 76kWh ternary lithium-ion battery sourced from CALB, delivering a maximum CLTC pure electric range of up to 505 kilometers.
