On July 24, the First Division of Equipment Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology conducted supervision and inspection on the product safety assurance capabilities and production conformity of road motor vehicle manufacturers at GAC Aion New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. and Zhaoqing XPENG Motors Co., Ltd. This inspection aimed to standardize the competitive order of the automobile industry and enhance the quality and safety standards of automobile products. The inspection focused on production access conditions, including the safety assurance capabilities of intelligent connected vehicles, design and development capabilities, production capabilities, and production conformity assurance capabilities of the enterprises. On-site, sample vehicles and power batteries were randomly selected and sent to relevant institutions for compliance testing with national standards.
