Recently, Stellantis Group formally launched pre-orders for the Fiat Topolino electric microcar in the U.S., with a starting price of $13,995. After factoring in a mandatory destination charge of $990, the total pre-tax cost reaches $14,985. This pricing positions it as the most affordable new car on the U.S. market, undercutting the base-model Nissan Versa by over $2,000. Classified as a low-speed, four-wheeled vehicle, the Topolino operates similarly to a golf cart, with a top speed of 19 mph (30 km/h) that can be upgraded to 25 mph (40 km/h) via an optional conversion kit. Its maximum driving range stands at 46 miles (74 km) per charge. The model will be available in limited quantities, offering both hardtop and soft-top convertible variants to suit diverse preferences.
