Xiaomi Pengcheng has officially begun generating buzz for the upcoming launch of its two latest models, the N70 and N90. These new additions boast the longest CLTC pure electric range in the series, extending up to 505km, and come equipped with a standard 76kWh battery. Positioned as pure electric commuting vehicles, they offer the dual benefits of low fuel costs and the peace of mind that comes with no long-distance range anxiety.

The Pengcheng series encompasses four models, all featuring a plug-in extended-range hybrid architecture. These vehicles are powered by the Dongan M15DRE engine and can reach a top speed of 190km/h. Specifically, the N90 Max camping edition is tailored for outdoor enthusiasts, while the N70 and N70 Max cater to the family market with their spacious five-seater design. The two N70 variants differ primarily in their battery and power configurations, providing consumers with more options to suit their specific needs.

Furthermore, the Pengcheng series test vehicles have undergone an extensive testing period of 626 days, with 566 units deployed and over 4.28 million kilometers of real-world testing mileage accumulated. This rigorous testing has covered a wide range of complex domestic road conditions, ensuring the vehicles' reliability and performance. Notably, Lei Jun, the visionary behind Xiaomi, personally took part in extreme environment tests across multiple locations. His hands-on involvement underscores the company's dedication to enhancing vehicle safety and quality through real-world road testing, setting a new standard in the automotive industry.
