On July 10, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology unveiled the latest product announcement in the 409th installment of the 'Road Motor Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products Bulletin.' The new Tesla Model Y has successfully completed its declaration process and is poised to be introduced as the Model Y Performance variant. This vehicle is crafted by Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., representing a pure electric multi-purpose passenger vehicle. It boasts dimensions of 4796mm in length, 1920mm in width, and 1611mm in height, with a wheelbase measuring 2890mm. Regarding powertrain specifications, the front and rear motors deliver powers of 176kW and 291kW, respectively. It is outfitted with ternary lithium-ion batteries, enabling it to achieve a maximum speed of 250km/h.
