On July 9, Xiaomi Auto officially launched its second product line, the SkyNomad Xiaomi Pengcheng. Lei Jun explained that the SU7/YU7 series is branded as the "Driver’s Car," designed for driving enthusiasts, whereas the Xiaomi Pengcheng series is positioned as an "Intelligent, Transformable, Spacious SUV." This lineup is specifically tailored for the extended-range family travel SUV market, catering to family outings and outdoor camping adventures. It offers both five-seat and seven-seat options, with the seven-seat model featuring a split tailgate and a retractable roof for added versatility. All variants come equipped with a 1.5T extended-range system, ensuring a driving range of over 1,500 kilometers, making it ideal for long-distance travel without frequent stops for recharging or refueling.
