On July 8, data released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) indicated that the wholesale penetration rate of new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturers soared to 62.8% in June, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 13 percentage points. Specifically, domestic brands led the charge with an impressive NEV penetration rate of 73.9%. Luxury brands followed closely, registering a penetration rate of 55.5%. Meanwhile, mainstream joint venture brands also witnessed a notable uptick, with their NEV penetration rate climbing to 13.1%.
