Tesla has just unveiled an elongated iteration of the Model Y, internally dubbed the Model Y L, in certain markets. This new model builds upon the foundational design of its predecessor, boasting notably enhanced body proportions and interior roominess. It measures an impressive 4,976mm in length, 1,920mm in width, and 1,668mm in height, with a wheelbase stretching to 3,040mm. The vehicle is thoughtfully designed with a 2+2+2 six-seat configuration, making it an ideal choice for families or groups requiring multiple seating.

Under the hood, the Model Y L is powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, churning out a robust combined output of 340kW. This powertrain enables the SUV to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in a mere 4.3 seconds. When it comes to range, the Model Y L doesn't disappoint, offering an estimated driving distance of around 750km under CLTC testing conditions.

The new model comes loaded with standard features designed to enhance comfort and convenience. These include front-seat ventilation for those hot summer days and tri-zone automatic climate control to keep everyone in the cabin at their preferred temperature. Moreover, the Model Y L supports Tesla's FSD Supervised system and seamlessly integrates Grok AI, elevating the driving experience to new heights.
