On July 3, as per the information disclosed by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Ford Motor Company has announced a recall involving specific models of 2024-2027 Lincoln Nautilus hybrid vehicles and 2025-2027 Explorer hybrid vehicles, encompassing a total of 66,383 units. The root cause of this recall lies in a software glitch that might result in the vehicles' failure to produce a pedestrian warning sound when traveling at certain speeds, which is a crucial safety feature to alert pedestrians of the vehicle's presence.
