On June 25, Huafeng Aluminium made an announcement stating that the key process of the "Intelligent Construction Project for High-End Aluminium Plate, Strip, and Foil for New Energy Vehicles" — boasting an annual production capacity of 450,000 tonnes — had officially commenced operations on June 24. This project, invested in by Huafeng Aluminium's wholly-owned subsidiary, features a "1+1+4" hot continuous rolling mill. With a total investment of RMB 2.619 billion, the initiative aims to establish a fully automated production chain. It is projected to enhance the production capacity of high-end aluminium materials by 450,000 tonnes annually, with an anticipated yearly output value reaching RMB 10 billion.
