On the 25th, the domestically-produced intelligent shield cutting tool replacement robot was officially put into use at the excavation site of the 'Xiajin' shield tunneling machine in the Huandao Road Tunnel of the Xiamen-Jinmen Bridge (Xiamen Section). This robot features 11 independently controllable articulated joints, enabling high obstacle avoidance and precise operational capabilities. With a load capacity of 500 kilograms and a flexible, extendable structure, it can cover the entire cutterhead of ultra-large-diameter shield tunneling machines ranging from 10 to 18 meters, easily gripping heavy-duty hob cutters and performing precise replacements. Additionally, the robot's hardware and software are 100% domestically produced, boasting fully independent intellectual property rights.
