On June 23, Du Xiaogang, the Secretary of the Wuxi Municipal Party Committee, engaged in discussions with a delegation headed by Li Qian, who serves as both the Secretary of the BYD Board of Directors and the General Manager of the Investment Department. The dialogue centered on reinforcing the existing cooperative framework and broadening the collaborative horizons between the two entities. Among those present were the leader of Evithin Technology and Cui Rongguo, the Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Wuxi High-Tech Zone. In light of the upcoming '15th Five-Year Plan', both parties expressed their commitment to aligning with national development strategies focused on intelligent connected new energy vehicles and the high-end chip sector. Leveraging Wuxi's designation as a pilot city for national automotive circulation and consumption reform, they aim to deepen practical cooperation and strategically plan for incremental projects. This will be achieved by integrating Wuxi's strengths in manufacturing, computing capabilities, and financial resources with BYD's brand recognition, innovation prowess, and market influence.
