On June 8, data released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) in India revealed that the retail sales of vehicles across the country reached 2,531,067 units in May 2026, marking a 9.55% increase compared to the same period last year. Specifically, the retail sales of passenger vehicles soared to 402,591 units, up by a significant 23.25% year-on-year, while commercial vehicle retail sales also saw a growth of 5.29%, reaching 83,823 units.
