Volkswagen Group announced that the ID.Polo and Cupra Raval have officially commenced production at the Martorell plant in Spain, marking the factory's successful transition into a new phase of electrification. Volkswagen stated that the models launched this time belong to the 'Electric Urban Vehicle Family,' led by Seat & Cupra on behalf of the core brand group of Volkswagen Group. Based on a shared platform, four pure electric models from three brands—Volkswagen, Cupra, and Skoda—are being produced at the same factory.
