On June 5, news surfaced that Chongqing Saidou Technology Co., Ltd. (a stakeholder in the Seres Group) is set to unveil a fresh automobile brand on the evening of June 9. This venture, a collaborative effort between Saidou Technology and Volcano Engine—a ByteDance subsidiary—seeks to pioneer new frontiers in AI-driven automotive technology. Previous reports indicate that the inaugural model born from this partnership is slated for launch within the current year. Anticipated to be a crossover vehicle blending the attributes of an SUV and a sedan, it will provide consumers with two powertrain choices: pure electric and extended-range electric. When it comes to intelligent features, this model will join forces with Volcano Engine to craft a sophisticated large-scale model for vehicle-machine interaction. Moreover, the intelligent driving system is likely to be co-developed with Yuanrong Qixing.
