According to data sourced from the General Administration of Customs and compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), the import value of auto parts soared to US$1.67 billion in April 2026. This figure represents a notable month-on-month increase of 10.0%, although it reflects a slight year-on-year decrease of 2.1%. Furthermore, from January to April 2026, the cumulative import value of auto parts stood at US$6.50 billion, marking a year-on-year growth of 2.7%.
