On June 5, Chinese Business View's Feng News reported that at approximately 9 p.m. on June 4, an XPENG electric vehicle exploded and burst into flames while charging at the northeast corner of the intersection between Shenzhen Road and Zhengzhou Road in Pingdu City, Shandong Province. The fire quickly spread, engulfing a nearby house and covering an area of nearly 100 square meters. Firefighters arrived at the scene promptly and managed to bring the fire under control after over an hour of efforts. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. The cause of the vehicle fire is currently under investigation.
