In a bid to deepen the reform of new energy vehicle (NEV) insurance and bolster the insurance service capabilities for the NEV sector, the Shenzhen Financial Regulatory Bureau, in conjunction with the city's Industry and Information Technology Bureau, Transport Bureau, and Commerce Bureau, has recently unveiled the 'Notice on Several Strategies to Promote High-Quality Development of New Energy Vehicle Insurance in Shenzhen,' outlining ten key policies.
In alignment with the directives set forth in these 'Strategies,' which include 'exploring comprehensive insurance solutions for intelligent driving' and 'pioneering 'basic + customizable' bundled insurance products,' the Shenzhen Financial Regulatory Bureau has steered the industry towards forming a specialized task force. This initiative aims to enhance professional expertise, foster closer collaboration with the NEV supply chain, and expedite the launch of innovative pilot projects within Shenzhen.
