On June 1, as reported by the National Business Daily, Li Auto’s Base Model Department has successfully undergone a fresh round of organizational restructuring. This strategic move involves the creation of three specialized sub-departments dedicated to embodied intelligence: Embodied Engineering, Embodied Interaction, and Embodied Behavior. Concurrently, the Autonomous Driving division has been elevated to an independent sub-department, signifying its growing importance. This restructuring represents Li Auto’s second organizational adjustment this year, underscoring the company’s commitment to advancing intelligent driving and embodied intelligence technologies. Post-restructuring, the three newly formed embodied intelligence departments, along with the Autonomous Driving department, will fall under the unified management of the Base Model Department’s head, who will directly report to the CTO, ensuring streamlined operations and enhanced coordination.
