Chery Automobile has forged a partnership with esteemed Japanese companies, including AUTOBACS SEVEN, to establish a fresh electric vehicle brand named "EMTA." This brand is specifically tailored to cater to Japan's burgeoning market for lightweight, pure electric vehicles. The innovative vehicle seamlessly blends Chinese and Japanese technological expertise, with its production taking place in China, capitalizing on Chery's cutting-edge technological capabilities. The vehicle is slated to make its debut in the spring of 2027, offering an affordable price point that rivals that of gasoline-powered vehicles. Furthermore, EMTA has ambitious plans to roll out four additional models in the Japanese market by 2029. Leveraging AUTOBACS SEVEN's vast retail network, EMTA aims to facilitate sales and establish a robust presence with 100 sales outlets across the country.
