As Denza marks its 16th anniversary and fourth year since its rejuvenation, the brand has officially rolled out its 500,000th vehicle—the Denza N9 Flash Charge Edition—from the production line. Originally established as a joint venture between BYD and Mercedes-Benz in 2010, Denza came under full BYD ownership on September 14, 2024. The Denza N9 Flash Charge Edition is scheduled for an official launch on May 18, following the commencement of pre-sales on April 7, priced between RMB 450,000 and RMB 500,000. This model boasts impressive dimensions, measuring 5258mm in length, 2030mm in width, and 1830mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3125mm. It comes equipped as standard with the Divine Vision 5.0 system and Easy Three-Way Technology, and is pioneering in featuring a new-generation AI-powered intelligent cockpit. Under the hood, the vehicle is powered by BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery, providing a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 420km. Additionally, it incorporates a dedicated 2.0T high-efficiency engine designed for plug-in hybrids, along with three 680-kilowatt motors (front and rear), enabling it to accelerate from zero to 100km/h in a mere 3.9 seconds. The vehicle also offers distinctive features, including rear-wheel steering.
