BYD has officially announced that the third-generation Yuan PLUS will make its market debut on May 21. Having already made a splash at the Beijing Auto Show, this new model stays true to the brand’s signature design ethos while integrating cutting-edge innovations, including the second-generation Blade Battery and flash charging capabilities.
In terms of aesthetics, the Yuan PLUS offers six distinct color options, presenting a sleeker, more streamlined silhouette. Notable design features include semi-concealed door handles and a horizontal rear light cluster, adding a touch of modern sophistication.
Inside, the cabin is reimagined with a large central touchscreen display, a fresh two-spoke steering wheel design, and a stalk-type gear shifter. A new interior color option, misty gray, adds an element of understated elegance to the overall ambiance.
The vehicle’s dimensions are 4665×1895×1675mm, with a wheelbase of 2770mm, providing ample space and a comfortable ride. It boasts an impressive driving range of up to 630 kilometers on a single charge, making it a practical choice for long-distance travel.
Additional highlights include 39 cleverly designed storage compartments, seven airbags for enhanced safety, the Divine Eyes B Intelligent Driving System, and TBC (Tire Blowout Control) technology, which ensures stability in the event of a tire blowout.
