On May 12, the 43rd APEC Automotive Dialogue convened in Shanghai. Wang Weiming, the Director-General of the Equipment Industry Department I at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, voiced his endorsement for intensifying cooperation between Chinese and international enterprises across various domains, including technology, standards, investment, and trade. He emphasized the importance of bolstering coordination and mutual recognition of standards and regulations among different economies, while also harnessing platforms such as APEC to facilitate technology exchange, talent collaboration, and the worldwide dissemination of innovative accomplishments.
