Xpeng Motors has recently revealed that, within the first month following the launch of its second-generation Vehicle Intelligent Assistance (VIA) system, intelligent driving accounted for more than half of the total driving mileage. Furthermore, the frequency of manual takeovers per 100 kilometers saw a significant month-on-month decrease of 25.87%, while the proportion of trips where VIA was utilized throughout the entire journey surged by 27.84% compared to the previous month. Notably, during the May Day holiday period, the daily utilization rate of Xpeng's AI-assisted driving technology soared to 93.21%, amassing a total cumulative mileage of 84.46 million kilometers. The longest stretch of intelligent driving per vehicle during this timeframe reached an impressive 5,441 kilometers.
