Toyota Motor Corporation has unveiled its financial outcomes for the fourth quarter of the 2026 fiscal year, revealing net sales amounting to JPY 12.60 trillion. This marks a modest year-on-year uptick of 1.9%, albeit slightly trailing the market's anticipated figure of JPY 12.72 trillion. The company's net profit soared to JPY 817.21 billion, reflecting a significant 23% year-on-year surge and outstripping the market's forecast of JPY 731.65 billion. Looking ahead, Toyota anticipates its annual net sales to reach JPY 51 trillion, a figure that falls short of the market's expectation of JPY 53.25 trillion. Similarly, the projected annual net profit stands at JPY 3 trillion, also lagging behind the market's estimate of JPY 4.04 trillion.
