On April 29, Volkswagen unveiled the official images of the ID.Polo, heralding a fresh era of electrification for this iconic small car. The latest iteration of the model comes in three distinct trim levels: the entry-level Trend, the comfort-oriented Life, and the top-tier Style, with overseas starting prices set at €24,995 (approximately RMB 199,900). Constructed on the cutting-edge MEB+ platform, the ID.Polo is positioned as a pure electric two-box commuter vehicle, boasting dimensions of 4053/1816/1530mm and a wheelbase of 2600mm. The exterior design features a sleek closed-off grille, a continuous light strip, and an illuminated brand emblem, exuding a modern yet timeless appeal. Inside, the cabin is equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13-inch central control screen, while maintaining a generous array of physical buttons for intuitive operation. The interface also offers a retro-themed design, adding a touch of nostalgia. In terms of features, all trims come standard with an intelligent driving assistance system and vehicle-to-load capability, with each version boasting unique offerings, such as the IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights on the top-tier model. The ID.Polo offers three powertrain options, delivering a maximum range of up to 454 kilometers and enabling fast charging from 10% to 80% in just approximately 24 minutes, ensuring convenience and efficiency for drivers on the go.
