On April 29, 2026, Chrysler initiated a recall of 20,271 units of the 2024-2025 Jeep Wagoneer S and Dodge Charger all-electric vehicles in the United States. This action was prompted by a flaw in the onboard software that has the potential to disrupt the dashboard display. Such a malfunction could compromise the visibility of vital information, including vehicle speed and battery status, thereby presenting a safety risk. The recall encompasses the entirety of the U.S., and Chrysler has committed to offering complimentary repairs via over-the-air (OTA) updates. In instances where OTA updates are not feasible, arrangements will be made for dealership-based updates.
