On the evening of April 23, at the Huawei Intelligent Driving Technology Conference, Jin Yuzhi, Senior Vice President of Huawei and CEO of Huawei Intelligent Automotive Solutions (Yinwang), announced that the cumulative shipment volume of Huawei’s ADS (Advanced Driving System) intelligent driving system had reached 1.7 million units, with the cumulative driving mileage exceeding 10.2 billion kilometers (updated daily in real-time on the official website). Huawei reported that after activating ADS assisted driving, safety performance improved by 4.2 times; under manual driving conditions, safety performance improved by 2.87 times. Additionally, Huawei officially unveiled its ADS 5 intelligent driving system that same evening.
