On April 23, during the spring product launch event for the Hongmeng Intelligent Driving Solution, Huawei's Executive Director, Yu Chengdong, announced that the solution had delivered 112,700 vehicles in the first quarter of 2026. This figure represents a significant year-on-year increase of 41.9%, with cumulative deliveries across all models surpassing 1.35 million units. Yu also highlighted that in March, the Hongmeng Intelligent Driving Solution models underwent an upgrade to include 896-line LiDAR technology. This upgrade prompted some users to delay their purchases in anticipation of the new vehicles, which consequently affected sales orders for that month. Had it not been for this delay, the growth rate for the first quarter would have been even more impressive.
