UK-based autonomous driving technology startup Wayve announced on Wednesday that it has secured investments from Qualcomm, AMD, and Arm. This move has brought in a new group of top-tier tech industry investors as it competes against rivals such as Waymo, owned by Google's parent company Alphabet. Wayve stated that these three semiconductor companies have injected $60 million in funding as additional investment to the $1.2 billion funding round announced in February this year.
