Recently, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. has submitted a recall proposal (Recall Number: S2026M0041V) and announced that, effective immediately, it will recall a specific batch of Dongfeng vehicles. This recall encompasses certain models within the D560 cargo, D310 cargo, KL tractor, and all-electric tractor series, all manufactured between April 1, 2025, and December 9, 2025. The total number of affected vehicles stands at 15,104 units. The root cause of the recall lies in manufacturing defects concerning the front lower guard assemblies of select vehicles. Specifically, insufficient cooling during the heat treatment process has led to a reduction in the strength of these assemblies, rendering them non-compliant with national safety standards. Consequently, in the unfortunate event of a collision, these assemblies may not offer adequate protection, thereby presenting a potential safety risk.
