BMW Group has officially introduced its innovative flat hydrogen storage system, poised for mass production in the upcoming new-generation BMW X5 by 2028. The BMW iX5 hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, integrated with this advanced system, is projected to achieve a remarkable driving range of up to 750 kilometers. It will be capable of storing a minimum of 7 kilograms of hydrogen and can be fully refueled in just 5 minutes, offering a seamless and efficient refueling experience akin to traditional gasoline vehicles.
