On April 9th, data compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) from the General Administration of Customs revealed that between January and February 2026, China’s total automotive product exports to countries along the 'Belt and Road' routes soared to US$26.33 billion, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 44.7%. This figure accounted for 59.0% of China’s overall automotive product exports during the same period. Specifically, the export volume of complete vehicles reached 1.027 million units, up by 47.0% year-on-year, while the export of new energy vehicles stood at 334,000 units, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 36.6%.
