According to data released by the CPCA on April 8, the national passenger car market witnessed retail sales of 86,000 new energy vehicle units from April 1 to April 6. This figure represents a 24% year-on-year (YoY) decrease compared to the corresponding period in the previous year, albeit with a 3% month-on-month (MoM) uptick. Concurrently, wholesale sales of new energy vehicles during the same timeframe amounted to 73,000 units, experiencing a sharper 39% YoY decline and a 14% MoM decrease.
