On April 3, the Wall Street Journal revealed that the American humanoid robot sector is heavily dependent on Chinese technology. Take Tesla, for instance, an American company that procures components from Chinese suppliers to manufacture its humanoid robots. China has a firm grip on producing the essential "physical frameworks" of humanoid robots, spanning crucial fields like microelectronics, motors, rare earth elements, and magnets. Chinese firms are solidifying their foothold in the supply chain, cutting down on expenses, and propelling the commercialization of humanoid robots forward.
