In compliance with the stipulations outlined in the Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automotive Products, CIMC Vehicle (Jiangmen City) Co., Ltd. has submitted a recall plan (recall number: S2026M0030V) to the State Administration for Market Regulation. Commencing immediately, the company is recalling 53 units of CIMC-branded concrete mixers manufactured from June 16, 2021, to December 15, 2022. The recall is necessitated by incorrect parameter settings in the inter-axle drive shaft of the vehicle's chassis. Specifically, when the middle axle descends into a pit deeper than 190mm, the inter-axle drive shaft tilts, causing interference with the balance shaft. In severe scenarios, this may result in damage to the drive shaft, disrupting the power transmission from the middle axle to the rear axle and thereby posing a potential safety risk.

To address this issue, CIMC Vehicle has engaged GAC Lingcheng New Energy Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. to replace the faulty inter-axle drive shafts with improved versions free of charge and to adjust the clearance to mitigate the hazard.
